MPI Resources
Absoft compilers are fully compatible with all leading MPI configurations on Linux, Windows and OS X. Absoft works directly with MPICH (Argonne), Open MPI, and Microsoft to ensure compatibility with the respective implementation. Supported versions and instructions for building Absoft compatible MPI’s are listed below. Build your own cluster using the MPI configuration best suited to your needs.
Absoft Rolls + Rocks bundles may be the best solution for you if you have a larger system and do not want to configure all of your own software. Absoft Rolls + Rocks bundles are complete, pre-configured cluster software solutions which include the full Absoft tools suite. Absoft and Clustercorp have partnered to develop pre-configured, easy to install and fully supported Absoft Rolls for Linux.

Notes on various MPI distributions:
MPICH* – Developed by Argonne Labs and especially popular in research environments. Currently supported on Linux and OS X.
Open MPI – Developed by vendors, labs and academics. Supported by a wide variety of commercial and research groups. Currently supported on Linux and OS X.
CCS 2003 – Developed by Microsoft specifically for Windows based clusters.
Rocks+Roll – Clustercorp provides software, services and support based on proven solutions using the Rocks cluster distribution for x64 Linux.
