What Version Do I Have?

The Absoft version number can be found in these locations:

  • The absoft_release file in the Absoft directory on your hard-drive
    • Windows –  C:\AbsoftXX.X\absoft_release
    • OS X – /Applications/AbsoftXX.X/absoft_release
    • Linux – /opt/absoftXX.X/absoft_release
  • About AbsoftTools dialog using the About AbsoftTools… menu item

How Do I Find My License Number?

Physical Delivery: your license number can be found on the inside cover of the media case.

Electronic Delivery: your license number is contained in your product delivery email.

Your serial number is also located in the license.dat file in the Absoft product directory on your hard drive

  • Windows –  C:\AbsoftXX.X\license.dat
  • OS X – /Applications/AbsoftXX.X/license.dat
  • Linux – /opt/absoftXX.X/license.dat

Can I use a command line with Absoft Fortran compilers?

Yes, the compiler is easy to use from the command line.
