Absoft Corporation provides a variety of technical support options for individuals and companies of all sizes. Resources offered differ for those with licenses for current Absoft products or continuing maintenance programs, and for those with older product releases.

Please Note: Absoft Technical Support service is designed to solve problems related to the operation of Absoft branded products. Support is not a consultation service nor can it respond to questions it determines are outside the scope of resolving issues with Absoft Fortran, such as unsolicited source files sent for debugging, benchmarking or hardware issues.

Absoft Customers With Licenses for Current Releases
& Those with continuing maintenance contracts

If you have a problem while using Absoft Fortran compilers, debuggers, libraries or tools please take the following steps before contacting Technical Support:

1. Check your user guide and examples included on your distribution CD. The example programs included on the CD cover a wide range of topics and answer many common questions.

2. Read the support FAQs for your product and version. Most questions are answered through our extensive FAQs. The FAQs allow users to find answers to specific questions that are requested on a regular basis.

3. Download service packs available for current and previous releases. Make sure that you have installed the most current version of the software. Service packs improve performance and correct compatibility issues.

4. Consult the Absoft user forum where you can exchange questions and information with other users. Forums include Linux, Windows, Macintosh, cluster and library programming.

NOTE: Free support is provided for current releases of all Absoft products only. If you would like to continue to receive active support, we suggest you subscribe to Absoft's Continuing Software Maintenance program.
