GINO - Graphics Development Tools
|
GINO is a suite of portable graphics development tools
aimed at scientific/engineering applications and contains over
900 routines available with a F90 or C binding. The suite consist
of different libraries, GINO, GINOMENU, GINOGRAF, GINOSURF,
CALGINO designed for different purposes including, creation
of GUI interfaces, common graphing features such as line graphs,
charts, contour maps, and 3D surfaces, a host of low-level drawing
routines for graphics development in 2D and 3D and now extensive
OpenGL features including built-in 3D objects, bezier shapes,
lighting and shading, material properties and texture mapping.
These libraries are available individually or packaged together
in GINO Bundle.

GINO is a suite of portable
graphics and GUI development tools used for the development of scientific
and engineering applications. The full suite contains over 900 callable
functions and is available for either F90, C/C++, Visual Basic,
Delphi or .NET. As well as containing high-level graphing features
such as line graphs, charts, contour maps and 3D surfaces, GINO
includes a fully programmable GUI interface(GINOMENU) and a host
of low-level drawing routines for vector-based graphics development
in 2D and 3D. GINO features fully integrated OpenGL functionality
including facets, lighting, shading and texture-mapping for developing
state-of-the-art 3D models. GINO runs under Windows, Linux, UNIX
and OpenVMS.

GINO Bundle
GINO Bundle provides over 900 graphics and GUI routines. The
library includes features for 2D and 3D data presentation, GUI
windows and widgets, low-level functionality such as line drawing,
fonts, filling, image handling, interaction, segment structures,
transformations & viewing and and OpenGL features such as
facets, bezier surfaces, lighting, shading and texture mapping.
The bundle is built up of GINO, GINOGRAF, GINOSURF and GINOMENU
as described below: |

GINO
GINO provides over 450 routines for developing 2D and 3D graphics
applications. The library includes functionality from basic
line drawing, fonts, polygons and images to full 3D OpenGL features
such as facets, bezier surfaces, lighting, shading and texture-mapping.
Metafile output includes JPEG, PNG, CGM, Postscript and WMF. |

 |
GINOMENU
GINOMENU is a toolkit for developing GUI applications under
Windows. It provides extensive window and widget building modules
in an easy to use format without the need to get involved in
resource files, MFC or direct Windows programming. Access to
the optional high level graphics facilities featured in GINO
or GINO Bundle is also available. |
| |
|
 |
GINOGRAF
GINOGRAF facilitates the display of 2D data in any popular charting
format including block filled bar, step and area charts, X-Y
graphs, population graphs, text charts and vector diagrams.
Complete control over annotation, axes, titling and shading
is provided. |
| |
|
 |
GINOSURF
GINOSURF enables 3D data visualization in the form of contour
maps, cross-sections and surfaces with full hidden-line removal.
Options include triangulation for contour maps, full annotation
and 4D data draped over 3D surfaces. |

CALGINO
CALGINO is a library of callable routines that mirror the popular
Calcomp HCBS routines used extensively for plotting graphics
applications. The CALGINO versions convert the routines to their
equivalent GINO routines, enabling existing Calcomp style programs
to benefit from the device-independent nature of GINO. |
