The new Absoft Roll for Platform Rocks consists of pre-configured compilers,
debuggers, math & message passing libraries and
other software development tools that help you immediately compile, debug,
run, and optimize HPC applications for Intel and AMD based clusters, grids
and servers. Included with the roll is the new high performance Absoft
Standard Fortran, Absoft C/C++ Technology Preview, Absoft's industry
leading Fx2™
Debugging Solution, several pre-built message passing libraries LAM/MPI,
MPICH-2, MPICH implementation, the Absoft Modules Environment, Absoft
Examples and Benchmarks, several HPC math libraries, and free technical
support. The Absoft Roll includes everything developers need to compile,
debug, run and optimize HPC applications in a single integrated package
that installs in under five minutes - start compiling and running your
HPC applications on your grid, cluster or server right away!
The Absoft Roll for Platform Rocks is compatible with most 64-bit x86/x64 hardware configurations running Linux.

The Absoft Roll for Platform Rocks is a comprehensive kit featuring best of breed software development tools that enable developers to achieve maximum performance from clusters and grids based on Intel and AMD processors. The Roll installs in less than five minutes and pre-configures the latest products from Absoft and include: C/C++/Fortran compilers, Fx2™ Debugging Solution, Modules Environment, comprehensive documentation, examples and benchmarks. All components in the Roll include one year of Absoft technical support and free upgrades. The Absoft Roll for Platform Rocks is designed for 64-bit Intel or AMD based Linux clusters and grids allowing software developers to instantly begin compiling and running HPC applications on their new Intel or AMD-based clusters or grids running Platform Rocks.
Platform Rocks is a commerically supported and enhanced impementation of the open source cluster management toolkit, NPACI Rocks. Platform Rocks provides customers a standardized tool to simplify management and make it easy and cost-effective for users to rapidly deploy, configure and monitor their cluster environment.

Warranty: Absoft and its Licensors warrant that the media on which the software is supplied shall be free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase. For additional warranty information, see the Absoft Software License Agreement.
Premier Technical Support
Premier Technical Support includes free technical assistance for routine, short duration installation and usage (how-to) questions, limited code-related questions, access to the Absoft user forum and FAQ's and access to friendly technical support engineers via fax, email or telephone during normal support hours. Premier Technical Support is at no charge is as long as the purchased product version is current.

Initial Software Maintenance (ISM)
Initial Software Maintenance includes free electronic downloads of all interim Service Packs and Quick Fixes from Absoft. Version upgrades require separate purchase but at discounted prices.
Continuing Software Maintenance (CSM)
At the conclusion of the Initial Software Maintenance term (i.e. when a new version of the purchased product is released) customers may either purchase a Product Upgrade or within 30 days of the new product release, purchase Continuing Software Maintenance (CSM) for an additional 12 month maintenance term. Continuing Software Maintenance includes all elements of Premier Technical support plus all Product Upgrades issued during the 12 month Continuing Software Maintenance term. Annual renewals of Software Maintenance will be made available at low-cost to customers who renew within their unexpired Maintenance term.
For users electing not to renew Continuing Software Maintenance and having expired maintenance terms but later wishing to rejoin CSM, Reinstatement Software Maintenance (RSM) terms may be purchased.
